What has Rahm offered up as evidence? It was a shakedown. I'm happy it happened, but it was a shakedown. Rahm (suffering from selective memory) has forgotten who was paying for his 'rent free' apartment (which is taxable by the way). But, Rahm and Obama do not have to offer up any evidence as long as there are voters like the one in Arkansas who admitted not knowing anything about the candidates but voted for Blanche LIncoln because "Obama wanted me too." Ignorance is slavery.

Can we ask Mrs Clinton and the left to define 'fair' please? In baseball, it means in between the lines and not foul. In golf it means not out of bounds and therefore fair. In tax, it means paying what you owe according to the tax law and not a dime more. So, I agree that the tax evaders need found out and punished, starting with Tim, Charlie, and Rahm. Neither of the three were punished. In fact, if you owe back taxes to the government, I bet that if you right the "Rangel Rule" on your check sans interest and penalties that the law will treat you differently than it did Mr Rangel, an unequal application of the law.

The top 1% pays 95% of the taxes. Tax Evasion is criminal and, when detected by the IRS, is punishable with interest, penalties, and even jail terms unless of course your name is Timmy G (now head of the Treasury) and Charlie Rangel. Then again, nobody started an investigation into Rahm Emmanuel's 'rent free' D.C. apartment. These three people have practiced tax evasion and faced no penalties. Now, tax avoidance is something else and perfectly legal as long as you are applying the tax law correctly. Still, the top 1% pays 95% of the taxes, so how exactly are they not already paying more than their fair share?

This article and any organization who wants nothing short of amnesty for law breakers says the AZ bill "gives police power to stop people on mere suspicion of being in the country illegal." This is patently false. I read the bill on the AZ website. The bill says in section 2B that "for any lawful contact made" by police where they have reasonable suspicion. This does not include stopping people on mere suspicion of status, a clear violation of the Bill of Rights; therefore, what you all are reading is nothing but propaganda meant to deceive you.
