One million per cent right JustHammers. Noble's last three performances have been lamentable. The boy looks shot to pieces, knackered and in need of a few weeks off. He slowed the game down to a ridiculous pace which is not what we need right now. As poor as anything I've seen from him. Playing Tompkins outside the back four borders on lunacy. We need play makers not stoppers. If Morrison and Lansbury can't get into that line-up then we might all as well pack up and go home. For the record, I was as frustrated and angry as I am capable of being, but still didn't boo at half time of full-time. Also: I thought the minute's applause for Muamba was entirely inappropriate. A PR stunt aimed entirely for TV. Those occasions should be for departed friends, not players sitting up in bed talking and smiling. It devalues meaningful tributes. What next, 30 seconds' applause for someone with a cough and cold?

More chance of winning the lottery. Can't see us bagging more than 18 points from our last 10 games. Five wins and three draws at best.

Just back from Elland Road. Locked in for 30 minutes after the final whistle but that proved the best entertainment of the day. Huge enjoyment with the loyal 4,000 dishing out good natured abuse to a suited security control officer. Probably a tad homophobic for some tastes but bloody funny and certainly better than the action on the pitch. Collins my man of the match, but probably worth no more than a seven. Noble looks knackered (same as the Donny match), Cole was decent when he came on (owed us a performance), Faye resolute and Tompkins sound. We are desperate for a play-maker in the middle, someone who can pull the strings like Diouf last week. Noble, Collison and Nolan are devoid of imagination. They are all looking to play the journeyman, risk-free ball which makes us so predictable and powder-puff. Gord knows how we shake things up with 10 games to go. It was a great atmosphere with every Leeds fan matching the noise generated by WH fans. Proper football match. Sadly, it's back to tiresome Upton Park on Tuesday with the whingers and whiners ruling the roost. Someone shoot me now.

West Ham Till I Die : Should Ravel Start?

I'll be at Elland Road (I hate home games this season so it's away days for me) and I'd be delighted to see Ravel run out. That said, I fully expect Sam to bring him on after 60 mins. That seems to be his way. Fully agree about Collison. Extremely poor. I also thought Noble looked shattered against Donny. Poorest I've seen him this season. Not at the races. We desperately need a fresh injection of...something/anything. Sadly, I think we are playing Leeds at exactly the wrong time. Warnock has got them organised and pumped up. Hope I'm wrong.

West Ham Till I Die : Home Form: Are We to Blame?

I have travelled to eight away matches this season and every one has attracted brilliant support from the travelling West Ham fans. Good atmosphere, great singing and amusing comments by the bucket load. In contrast, I have been to every home game bar two and have generally left feeling completely flat, whatever the score. A collective round of Bubbles before the start of each half is about the best you'll get from the Upton Park crowd. A third of the Centenary Stand pipe up two or three times a match and there's a bit of noise from the East side fans camped down near the away fans. Apart from that, UP is as flat as Old Harry's A-hole. I sit in the East upper and am surrounded by pillocks who are on the moan from the first minute. I almost choked on my Wagon Wheel last night when one season ticket holder hollered: 'Get involved, Maynard' with less that 60 seconds on the clock. Obviously not everyone is as crass and dimwitted as that, but membership of the Stupid Club is healthy and growing. With the stadium so quiet, you can see the performances of the players dip as the groans and moans permeate the evening. It's complete cobblers and I hate it. I'm not advocating that we all all join the cheerleaders, but we really do have to raise our game. Something has definitely changed about the old club, and it ain't great. As I said, the spirit is still there at away matches. That's probably where you'll find me next season. As for the home support...it's two bob. We are out Spudding the Spuds.

West Ham Till I Die : You Know You've Done A Good Interview When...

Enjoyed the interview, Iain. The relaxed style certainly paid dividends. Loved every word. I'm surprised though that you didn't employ basis PR tactics when you had a decent property. An early 400-word write off with the juiciest bits (Tevez, Torres, Parker etc) filed to the dailies would have guaranteed you the site credit you deserved.

Thanks for calling me a liar, Mr Dale. As ever your diligence and research leaves no stone unturned. Remarkable, therefore, that in the previous blog under the heading 'Interview With David Sullivan' is a comment by me clearly marked Deleted by Administrator. The replies from other posters hang there like the apology I will never receive from you. As you say, it's not funny and it's not clever. As it's your bat and your ball I suppose you can do and say what you like.

In full agreement, Goaters. Shambolic from start to finish. The FA buckled under pressure from The Times (Simon Barnes), Daily Mail (Dacre), Mirror (Lipton) and The Sun (Steven Howard) who took it upon themselves to be affronted on our behalf. Find me one fan who was outraged that Capello took a contrary view to his bosses and I'll run around Wembley with a daffodil shoved up my bum. Phrases like untenable position and disloyalty worthy of the sack were predictable, knee-jerk and risible. So much for free speech. Now pass me a large glass of Cloudy Bay, I need to join you in LaLa land. PS: Why have you deleted your last message (did Iain's censor henchmen pay you a visit?)
