All you need to prove is residency.

A Driver's Licence has nothing to do with proving citizenship.

No. It is proof that at the time you got it you had the appropriate documents to get a valid licence. How do you thing non-citizens that work here get a licence?

AZ's law should not be the model for anything enforcing immigration! It is based on hate directed towards a specific group of people. Under AZ's law legal residents and even citizens can be detained, threatened and harassed by the police! Police a threatened with legal action if the fail to pursue "reasonable suspicion"!

There should be NO such law in Indiana.

I am very glad that Ken and Sarah are fine after this. It seems to me that he handled the situation as calmly and compassionately as a person could.

I do hope that the individual get treatment, and then the punishment, needed after this dangerous episode.

ASPLUNDH is the same company that destroyed many healthy trees in Mishawaka summer before last, when they were contracted to remove "intruding" branches from power line areas.

Instead of blaming things that are not the cause of this "oh so unexpected" issue, how about looking at that vehicle you've been building for 27 years?

That specific platform is moving onto the next generation of vehicle. AMG priced themselves out of bidding and Oshkosh rightfully won the contract for THE next generation wheeled multi-purpose vehicle.

Th M-ATV is a better fit for the war fighting roles that the Army is filling in the 21st century. This isn't the same Army I served in 18 years ago, that was still prepared for major combat in Asia and Europe. The modern responsibilities of the Army demand a vehicle that can survive the urban and improvised battlefield even better than the HMMWV did.

It's sad to see a technology that was so important to my day to day living for several years go to the wayside, but even a "wacky liberal" like me knows that the military is not static, it has to keep up with the current threats and missions.
