Another, however, is the utter lack of organization and leadership at the distribution center. If people can drive to the distribution center to will-call their packages, why are they not available for pickup? Is it so hard to inventory where the packages are *before* they are thrown into the black hole known as a retainer trailer. Surely the bad road conditions didn't affect the abilities of people to scan packages and sort them in the safety of the distribution center. Instead, we have a 60 trailer backlog with no end in sight. In my experience, nothing the GOP does is without a purpose. Like all things in politics, every action is carefully orchestrated to gain maximum benefit. Here, Rossi knew that Washington voters lean to neither extremes (at least, so I hope!) and that distancing himself from the national Republican label was to his benefit. Of course, the Democrats need to associate Rossi with Republican extremism in order to garner moderate votes. I just wish both sides would stop all the sniping and talk about issues...
