Whether he was good or bad, it isn't important. What is important is that he took on the responsibility for directing the BNP in the SW of England. As we know, it is an unpaid position, which often requires personal investment from ones own funds. He most probably dedicated at least 15-20 hours per week to the role which could have been spent with his family. At least Mike can look back on his RO days and feel proud of the fact that he tried his best. The Letter: I dislike the way that Mr. Howson was addressed as Howson. He at least deserves to be addressed with respect. The purpose of the letter was absolutely pointless. If the reader wasn't aware of who the authors were, they would have assumed that it was written by a couple of giggly teenage girls organising a Justin Bieber fanclub meeting. After my membership of the BNP expired, I did some research on the other nationalist parties across Europe. One thing that stood out was the common language, colours, and images used. All of them talk of a positive future and images to back up the text. There wasn't a single negative word regarding the past, present, or regarding a rival party. Most of the visitors to their websites already feel negative, so do not need to be reminded. They visit nationalist websites as they hope that the answer that will solve the problems will be there. I was impressed by the content of The Danish Peoples Party website, and even though I am not Danish, I felt positive for the future of Denmark. It tough enough trying to catch the attention of the average floating voter, but to get them to look at your website is very tough. The European nationalist parties have it down to an art. They pull them in and get the votes. Britain First have their eyes locked on the target and are not letting anyone get in their way. Good on them! Residents from neighbouring areas would have had evidence that the party was well worth the vote. After that, it wouldn't have made any difference if the press bad mouthed the BNP, as the official reports from the council would have shot down any smears put out by the NUJ or Searchlight.
