At least the Amish use some power tools now. In most "Islamic countries" you would sit around for 100 years saying "If Allah wills the wood to be cut..." and then if you get pissed off enough, call the wood a heretic, chop off it's knots, stab it, burn it, and then blow it up. Satisfied the wood isn't looking at you funny, or asking for bacon, you could then attach the wood to your 1983 Panhard and drag it around town while your buddies stomped on it shouting victory chants. Finally, out of gas and energy, you would need only to hang the board from your nearest non-functioning telephone pole or bridge and point to it as an example to all the wood that refused to allow Allah to cut it.
