There is a thrill in the hunt and takedown. I am guessing some like that sort of action. The homeowner is a tax payer. She deserves to be treated better than she has been and the City of Auburn has a duty to restore her home to the condition it was in. Cleaning up the chemicals will be a nightmare. Mayor Lewis needs to approve the clean-up. Doesn't the City carry insurance that covers such actions? If this ends up in court it could very well cost the city four times the amount with attorney fees, some pain and suffering by the plaintiff and the cost of restoration of the property. I have a feeling it would be easy for the plaintiff to find men and women who have served on Swat teams to testify on her behalf. It might not be such a pretty picture.
