I like this variation I'll have to try it. I make something similar with apricot glaze (duck sauce is perfect for this) low sodium soy sauce, lime and whatever spices seem good at the time.

It works with wings and other parts, first wash to chicken parts, put in any kind of oven proof pan, coat very lightly with olive oil and salt a tiny bit to crisp the skin.
Cover with foil, cook for 20 minutes 350-375 degrees depending on type of parts and how many, then put the glaze on with foil tented and for another 20 min or so, the last 5-10 minutes take off the foil and allow glaze to brown.
I find keeping the foil on not only prevents the glaze from burning but makes the chicken juicer.

I don't know whether to thank you or shake my fist in impotent rage because you're feeding my addiction.

Fabulous! This (along with lines from Simon and Hecubus) are skits some of my friends and I still reference even now.

And waitress, this time no giggling!

I've actually been rewatching KITH on YouTube recently and it's it's amazing how it's held up in reality not just my memory. I love this particular skit because it reminds me of some of my friends during this time period. And I love the "me head nearly fell off" line.

It won't let me imbed but here's the link:

I have naturally curly hair that frizzes, it's what I call Puerto Rican hair (I'm 1/4 Puerto Rican), not like "black" hair, but not like "white" hair either. I love my keratin treatments almost as much as I love my family. More in a few cases.

I'm a fan of the classics, and threaten to sell him to the Gypsies. Though I should start saying "Roma". And of course, if you don't stop that right now, all of your toys are going right in the garbage! And a couple have just to show I'm not bluffing.

I'm sorry for all of your losses. Mother's Day has become a bit less hard for me, partially because I was 13 when my mom died and I'm in my early 40's now so time has dulled that a bit. And also I'm a mom now so I look forward to future Mother's Days when my 3 1/2 year old is older and I have handmade artwork and cards to look forward to.

As seems to be true in trashy films, the 70's and early 80's are where it's at! I remember reading "Love Play" by Judith Michael (a husband and wife writing team). It's a deep intellectual tale of an Italian count (or some other aristocracy) who kidnaps the ex porn star fiance of his younger brother so she cannot marry said younger brother. But (wait for it) he's kidnapped her lookalike, virginal, brainy, half sister who's agreed to pose as the pornsister. There ensues a tale of suntanning, villas and seduction. Second runner up as it's a better written book so I don't quite feel so guilty is Lace by Shirley Conran, I also read this at about 12 or 13 and the mini series with Phoebe Cates as Lili is a pale imitator. I have to see if I still have that book, I want to reread it now.

This does sound delicious, I'd add the mushrooms back in (because I LOVE mushrooms) and maybe serve them over egg noodles, but I like the couscous idea as well. And the chopped parsley is genius, a simple idea that adds a whole new layer.

I agree with several previous comments, my personal cancellation sadness was for Carnivale. And just when it was getting even more bizarre! I still miss that show.
