Our founding fathers would be rolling over in their graves if they knew the GOP continues to allow this travesty to exist. There are only two reasons for this to continue: MONEY and THIRST for POWER. These very conditions in jolly old England are what prompted our founding fathers to declare independence.

Goodness sakes! That last sentence is a doozy. An example, however, of how the GOP works. Cram as much into a sentence as humanly possible, and then go on as if the cramming explains anything.

Until the GOP accepts that its failed policies allowed this to happen, there is no hope for the GOP to thrive in the future. Majority voters are no longer white men.

The Republican congress stood by and let Bush/Cheney get away with this huge financial mess and now they want us to believe they can fix it? They are using the same failed policies that got us into this mess.

What happened to a surplus or balanced budget was Bush/Cheney. Bush entered office with a budget surplus (Thank you, President Clinton). Bush left office with us in theis horrible mess. Suze Ormann told Bush he owes his fortune and his family's fortune to the American taxpayer.

"In 1886 the Supreme Court, in the case of Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad, was interpreted to have ruled that corporations were “persons”—before women were considered persons under the 19th amendment to have the right to vote. Ever since, corporations have enjoyed most of the same constitutional rights granted to real people. But corporations are not humans. They don’t vote. They don’t have children. They don’t die in Iraq. The people who work for the corporations are of course real people, but the corporate “entity” should never be given equal constitutional rights to real human beings. Even Business Week magazine, in a 2000 editorial, declared that “corporations should get out of politics.”
