I have had my iphone for about 6 weeks now - 3G 8GB, jailbroken and unlocked. Tonight the phone shut off while I was playing scrabble so I figured it needed charging. I plugged it in, but the battery icon on the screen stayed in the red and I could not turn it back on. It stayed this way for about 2 hours and then it showed up top that it was fully charged? I tried charging it from the wall adapter instead of USB but it continued to show red, but fully charged. I changed it back to the USB and tried restarting the PC with it plugged in and it is now doing what it is supposed to do and is halfway charged now and showing green. Has anyone else run into this and does it mean there is a problem with the software? Thanks...

Another question regarding my 3G, 3.01 unlocked jailbroken phone - the Cydia App is telling me there are 3 updates on - is it safe to just go ahead and update this as I do't know anything about Cydia? Thanks.....

I will try resetting the router and go on one at a time. Just curious, if I do the hit the reset button on the iphone, does it take me to a screen where I have a choice of just resetting the network or does it erase everything? Thanks....

Not sure if my original post got through - i bought my iphone a few weeks ago and it is jailbroken and unlocked. It was working fine until a day ago and now it will not pick up wifi. It keeps asking for the password and when I enter it is says it is not correct. If I go to settings - general - and reset - will this restore the phone to its original settings and lock it again? Can anyone give me any advice on how to get the wifi working again?

Hi all - I have a question about my unlocked, jailbroken iphone - 3G - 3.01. I have had it for about 2 weeks and all of a sudden it will not pick up wifi - not at home or at work. If I go to Settings - General - Reset......does this reset the network settings or does it wipe out everything? I am new to this - my first iphone and I did not unlock it myself - bought it from ebay and don't want to have to figure out how to unlock myself at the moment, although I am sure I will have to at some point in the future. Is there another way of getting wifi access back? I don't want to lose the apps on the phone such as cydia, etc....Can anyone offer me any advice that will not wipe out the unlock?? Thanks in advance........
