I used to park there every morning. It was IDEAL because you were able to get a seat on the 41 before it stopped at the Transit Center. There was even early-bird parking available in the Target garage (no thanks!) Anyway, the City of Seattle turned it into a park, although the bus stop is still in use. Most people went to the Transit Center to park which was already crowded at 6am. I decided to use the JCPenney parking garage..which has spots reserved for bus riders. Well, my point I guess is although they expanded the Northgate Transit Center's parking lot..selling the P&R behind Target was a huge mistake. I am just glad I am retired now and don't commute any longer. The decisions that are made in this city make no sense at all when it comes to public transportation...(among other things) ..
