Most product placement in movies and on tv really irk me. But I do have a favorite... in the movie U.S. Marshals when Tommy Lee Jones says "Get yourself a Glock". I've got a Glock.

Breitbart.tv : Gore: Scientists Wouldn't Lie About Global Warming for Money, Skeptics Would

Another case of "Statistics don't lie, but liars use statistics". "97 percent of scientists say man-made climate change is real." Sounds like a slam dunk and the facts are in. Did you follow the link you posted? The research you reference is 97% of 1,372 climate researchers. Not all scientists; and they don't even mention climatologists. I have to view the report with a "grain of salt" after reading the abstract: "Although preliminary estimates from published literature and expert surveys suggest striking agreement among climate scientists on the tenets of anthropogenic climate change (ACC),the American public expresses substantial doubt about both the anthropogenic cause and the level of scientific agreement underpinning ACC. A broad analysis of the climate scientist community itself, the distribution of credibility of dissenting researchers relative to agreeing researchers, and the level of agreement among top climate experts has not been conducted and would inform future ACC discussions. Here,we use an extensive dataset of 1,372 climate researchers and their publication and citation data to show that (i) 97–98% of the climate researchers most actively publishing in the field support the tenets of ACC outlined by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and (ii) the relative climate expertise and scientific prominence of the researchers unconvinced of ACC are substantially below that of the convinced researchers." Notice the last line? The researchers that didn't agree with them are inferior! Not very scientific. We know that grant money is given out to prove a specific result. Keep getting the results that the grant supplier wants and the money keeps flowing. As for your "assignment" (which sounds like a trick question from a lib professor); the first part i'll answer with "Divine Creation" and the the second with "they existed at different times in Earth's history". Now... here's your assignment: Tell us how simple one-cell DNA "evolved" into the complicated and huge amount of life forms that now exist without violating the second law of thermodynamics.
