I was unaware that before the firearm was created that nobody died from acts of violence. Yes, I own firearms. I am compensating for something. It is for the simple fact that bad people do bad things, regardless of the weapon.

Sure they could wait for animal control. It could have taken several minutes or more. The dog could have ran off and possibly attacked someone. Then you would complain that the officer did nothing when he had the chance.

It isn't just about protecting himself. If a dog was that agressive to him then it could just as easily attacked anyone else that walked by.

Animals are not like humans, especially agressive animals. They don't know what getting shot means. One shot might have been all it took but that didn't mean that it immediately stopped the animal.

Thanks but I don't have to come on out because I just have to come down the hill and take a right to get to Olympic Stadium. I will be there watching LOG TRUCK DRIVERS drive around and the LOGGERS compete in the competitions. If by fitting in you mean not crying about a shirt offending someone or even thinking its offensive then yes I will.
