Breitbart.tv : Mexican Flag Flies as Dozens Arrested at Illegal-Immigration Law Protests

Forget the Mexican flag, the communist Cuban flag with a photo of Che Guevara is the real tip off. Don't let the present illusion of semi-normality fool you, we are in the middle of a full blown communist revolution in this country and most people have not figured it out yet.

Breitbart.com : Obama loses drilling moratorium appeal

Obama still wins (in the short run). The oil companies will not risk the enormous cost of setting up to drill again just to be shut down by an unfavorable court ruling. The mere threat of legal action is sufficient to stifle drilling and until the oil companies know the administration is no longer hostile to drilling - they will not drill.

Breitbart.com : Hard times for Ill., but not for governor\'s staff

It's happening in local and state governments everywhere, add to it the explosion in federal hiring, protected unions, well connected Democrat allies on Wall Street/Fortune 500 with exclusive gov. contracts and the whole stinking mess is resting on the shoulders of small business and their employees. We would be completely crushed by now If it weren't for wild government borrowing, and that's swiftly coming to an end. We are committing national suicide If we don't remove the statist political class in our next election.

Breitbart.com : Senator calls for boycott of Arizona All Star game

I am a first generation American born citizen from a latin American immigrant family. They all did it the "old fashioned way" they earned it. Years of following the rules, english classes, history classes, everything required to become citizens. Around the dinner table I remember seeing the pride in their eyes and feeling the excitement in their voices as my parents and grandparents would recount their journey to, as they put it, "This Great Country". Achieving US citizenship was their proudest accomplishment and they made it their business to teach me not to take my citizenship for granted. It was a privilege to live here and greater yet, an honor to be a U.S. Citizen. My father is now old and my grand parents have long since past. It makes me sad to see cheap politicians pimp away what my immigrant family rightly recognized as a unique honor. Too many politicians have discounted the price for citizenship for easy votes. Though my father went to school in the south in the 1950s , I never once heard him mention racism or mistreatment. Maybe this 15 year old Cuban immigrant boy learning to speak english never experienced racism in Southern Georgia in the 1950s, but if he did, he never discussed it with me or my siblings. I think he instinctively knew that viewing human relationships through the lens of racism would provide me with an excuse for failure and undermine my pursuit of the American dream. Senator Menendez should be as wise as my father.

Mr. Obama knows exactly who this "core group" is and more importantly they know exactly who he is. His comments are intended only to confuse. He is not interested in the "concerns of the folks". He only desires to appear reasonable for political advantage.

The difference is that now he must govern and will be judged by the results - and they are not good. As a candidate he could throw rocks and was not accountable.
Breitbart.com : AP Source: Cash for Clunkers to end on Monday

1. President Barack Obama said the program has been "successful beyond anybody's imagination" 2. . . . auto dealers have made deals worth $1.9 billion and are on pace to exhaust the program's $3 billion in early September. If this is all true then why stop the program on Monday, why not let the program run until the money runs out. Secretary LaHood claims, "It's been a thrill to be part of the best economic news story in America." Well if this is so then would it not be logical to appropriate a few more billion and build on this "success beyond anybody's imagination"? I suspect the plug will be pulled on this scam on Monday for fear of an embarrassing cascade of auto dealer opt-out stories beginning with the New York auto dealer association report yesterday. It's the classic retreat and declare victory tactic.

Breitbart.com : Mortgage deliquency rate hits all time high in 2Q

I would like to hear good news as much as the next guy but this attempt by the Associated Press to make good news out of bad is delusional. TransUnion spokesman, Guarrera said, "While there's no way to know exactly why the pace of growth is slowing, it appears that programs aimed at helping distressed homeowners from both the government and mortgage lenders are beginning to help." Instead of pointing out the obvious contradiction in this statement the AP writer used it to support her transparent "hope" that all is improving. This is why we are where we are. The press, the watchdogs of our government have abandoned their Constitutionally protected responsibility to report reality to the citizens. It's not always possible but avoid purchasing products or services from those who advertise with the MSM. www.youtube.com/user/flatlinemedia123

Breitbart.com : PROMISES, PROMISES: Do Obama deals break pledge?

The only way the AP can criticize Obama is to compare him to Bush and then finally say that "All presidents do it". At least we're getting a little insight from the MSM here but they're still pathetically sycophantic. The press is presently the most dangerous threat to good government in America. http://www.youtube.com/user/flatlinemedia123

Breitbart.com : House Democrats muzzle GOP on sensitive issues

Bill, Your missing the point, whatever Bush did, is done, you want to blame him, fine go ahead. If you think this advances your politics, great, we can all revel in your success. The point is we must respond properly now. Over taxation, and increasingly bloated government control will not solve our problems. This statist approach is historically ineffective and will prove so again in the future. Also, you have not in any way addressed the irresponsible spending, cronyism, voter fraud, media corruption, hypocrisy, fascist tactics and gross mismanagement clearly evident in this administration.

Let's see... Democrat substitute for logical argument: "Bush", "last eight years", etc..
Breitbart.com : Ousted president calls for Honduras insurrection

Why is Obama and our state department not condemning this obvious call to civil armed conflict? This is hardly the kind of behavior we would condone from a "democratic" ally, like let's say . . . Israel. This is clearly unconstitutional, egomaniacal and selfish behavior on Zelaya's part. The Obama administration loudly condemns the relatively peaceful, constitutional, congressional and judiciary approved expulsion of Zelaya, but when this socialist dictator want-to-be calls for armed insurrection to reinstate himself, potentially igniting civil war, this administration is mute. Our present government is scary, their true color is increasingly apparent to all who will see.

Breitbart.com : Republicans lambast Obama for backing Zelaya

What else is there to say? Leftist ally of Chavez and Obama, President Manuel Zelaya usurps unconstitutional power, then gets smacked down by the judicial and legislative branches. Our conservative politicians generally approve of the action and our liberals support the usurper. Nothing surprising here. Violations of law, great or small, by those deposing Zelaya should be prosecuted, but subjecting the entire Honduran population to continuing oppression by this little Chavez, in waiting, should not be the cost of imperfectly executed law enforcement by the military. Our liberals remind me of the criminal defense attorney who argues for his murderous clients release because samples of the victims blood found all over him was put in an 8 oz baggy instead of the technically prescribed 6 oz bag. Technical or procedural errors by the Honduran military do not justify reinstalling the aspiring dictator.

I was around when catalytic converters were first introduced for auto emissions. The argument then by the "experts" was that only water vapor and harmless C02 would replace lead and carbon monoxide auto emissions. Now we're told by the "experts" that C02 is a pollutant. The experts will be the death of us yet.

Breitbart.com : GOP, White House at odds on Sotomayor documents

White House Counsel Greg said, "the judge (Sotomayor) never served on PRLDEF's staff or supervised its employees". Craig also defended PRLDEF, calling it "a highly respected civil rights fund." Typical layer-eze. Sotomayor had nothing to do with with PRLDEF's controversial opinions or actions, or if that doesn't work, PRLDEF is a great organization, highly respected. What is not respected is this administration's junk arguments and lack of intellectual or moral integrity.
