Driving under the influence: Everyone knows that this in not a good thing to do. But shouldnt you be the judge of your abilities? I think everyone should be accountable and responsible for their own actions. However, if you drink alcohol, get behind the wheel, and drive home, and arrive home without altercations, why is there legal consequence for your actions? RESULT???? Because people are incapable of making decisions for themselves that the government thinks that they can make better choices for you. I don't agree, I think that people are capable of making their own decisions, however, we're just not allowed to. But we are stuck with the laws governing over us, untul we get someone in office, like Brian, to change them. Did anyone ever look into the 14th Amendment to our constitution? It says that your government doesnt have the right to give you a privilege to travel. (ie issue a license). Its a god given right to travel and the govenment cant stand in your way. But generations after generations are lead to believe that you need to have a license to drive on public roads. Check it out, if you don't believe me

There are many other laws that are ridiculous that don't involve children or families yet we still have those laws enforced daily. For example{ Motorcycle helmet law: Why can't an adult make that decision for themselves. I think that wearing a helmet is the right thing to do, but should we be forced? Seatbelt law: same as the above. I think its smart to wear one, but should you be forced and then when you don;t , get ticketed? Alcohol consumption: Youre old enough to drive, vote and serve this great nation in our armed services, but you have to be 21 in order to drink alcohol legally?

Do parents have the right to make decisions for their own children? The answer is no. And its been NO for a long time. We have legislation that requires parents to make their children wear seatbelts, car seats. Don;t get me wrong, I always have my children in seat belts and car seats! However, aren't parents in a better position to know whats best for the children? That is the argument for the babysitting, right? Do parents have the right to "spank" their kids when they misbehave? No. They have criminalized parenting. I am not talking about child abuse, I'm talking about spanking your child when they need it. There is a fine line between abuse and parenting.

I don't care either way for the law--- whether they change it or not, it doesn't affect me personally. But I think that people got all upset because they think that the "government is too intrusive" and meddling into family matters that is none of the governments business. I can see the validity in that. However, if you're saying that the family (parents) know how to make better decisions than leaving it up to the government, I think that people are bring the wrong issue to the table.

We've sought out lawyers to sue Lisa for Defamation of Character and Slander. She is the one that is creating this problem by shooting off her mouth saying things she doesn't know as fact. She is just peeved that someone turned her in and its driving her crazy that she doesn't know who it is. I know because I seen her going door to door, repeatedly asking neighbors if it was them that reported her., but neighbors that I am neighborly with, have told me that she was there, trying to investigate it herself. Do you honestly think that when youre approached at your front door, and you are the complaintant, that you would tell the truth, when the complaint is taken anonymously? Yeah, ok, What la la land did you crawl out of?

I never claimed to know every detail of the law. I didnt know if was illegal to watch others kids. You can probably see that I watch my friends kids on occasion. Why would I turn someone in for doing what I do on a occasional basis? I know what was going on, on my street and with neighbors because I am not a hermit like you. I regularly visit the outdoors on my property. I am observant to my suroundings!. I never said I knew what happens inside others homes and don't pretent to, So I don;t know what you're talking about.

Both nieghbors on both sides of Lisa HAVE radon gas. We are also a house on the block that have radon in our home which we vent out as well. I only heard from rumor that the white house similar to Lisa;s had radon, I do know for sure, without a doubt that we have radon, and that the neighbor closest to Lisa on Soloman has radon at unsafe levels. Geologically, it would seem impossible, if the two homes on both sides of Lisa have radon, while Lisa would not. Since radon is emitted through the soil in a localized area. This is why Licensing requires the test. To be sure the kids are not harmed from any level of radon gas that the EPA says is a dangerous level.

It wont look absurd when she or others like her seriously neglect, injure or kill a child. it happens. everyone is blind by all the media attention. why the knee jerk legislation for one incident? because Brian wanted to use this to his advantage for when he runs for office in another district next november. don't you think he should be working on the budget? These a just a few of the issues that the DHS licensing unit looks into when they permit someone to care for others kids as a service. (When its more than a few times, or few weeks a year---its more than a friend helping a friend). I am not saying that Lisa is or was deliberately making her home unsafe. Most likely, she doesn't know of the hazards in her home. DHS licensing would help her realize the hazards in her home for the children she is watching as well as her own family.

The DHS had these laws put into effect to protect the environment for the children. Here are some things to consider when using Lisa Snyder as an example. These are things that I know as a fact. I am not filling in the blanks or making it up! Two neighbors to the right, and one neighbor to the left have radon gas in their homes. These home require it to be vented out. (For those of you who don't know, Radon gas is deadly. It causes respitory problems, and even cancer). Lisa's home has not been tested, and is not venting out Radon gas as her immediate neighbor need to, in order to keep them safe. Lisa has never had her water tested through the Health Department for Bacteria or Nitrates. I know this because we had property line issues (Lisa was building a landscaping hill on our property, so we pulled all the health department records for both properties). No water testing was reported to the Health Department. Bacteria in the water is what causes vomiting and diarhea in adults and children. High nitrates, puts nitrates into your blood, and causes your blood cells to deprive your lungs of oxygen. Lisa had to have her septic system recently repaired because it was backing up into her home. They did a temporary fix (Terralift).

None of the kids were hers. Those kids were staged for the news. We have never seen any of those kids there before, the whole 5 years Lisa and I have lived here, with the exception of staging for the news. The only time her kids were shown, was on last nights broadcast when they panned across their school pictures....

I don't think thats going to happen any time soon. The politicians are too busy with other more important things. (sarcastic overtone) They definately have a difficult job ahead. And lots of budget cutting to do. But I havent heard not a one of them offer to get pay cuts to save one program or another.
