I wasn't sure who I was supporting in this race and have been fairly apathetic toward it, but after hearing what they all have to say, there choice is rather clear for me. To sum up both Caprio and Chafee: Big-Government brownnosers who speak to sound good without true conviction. They are both the products of their fathers' wallets and can't think independently or maintain a purely philosophical discussion. Mr. Robataille is the overwhelmingly clear choice. He understands that the role of government is not to take care of us from cradle to grave. Personal responsibility MUST be restored as a core value in the state and country. As long people believe it's the government's role to is provide do-nothing state jobs and social welfare services, our state and society will be filled with un-motivated citizens living off government handouts rather than acquiring prosperity for themselves. Yet, the government continues to grow while funding these services by over-taxing, all while our prosperity being slowly eroded from the economic consequences. Robataille gets it, and I'm on board.
