You're not going to stop. You already tried and you were pulled back in. This message board is the only place anyone has ever actually cared about what you have to say.

You aren't wrong. WWE is responsible for its current state, which is the worst I can remember in my 30 years of fandom, but this column isn't about wrestling anyway. It's a place where you can write and have dialogue with readers. The appeaal makes sense.

Your name actually has value on this site and the readership is loyal to you. I give it 12 months, tops. Call it a vacation, not a retirement.

Enjoy it while it lasts guys. You don't get to blast or boost this old curmudgeon about his 38-year old sensibilities for long because if you haven't heard, he's strongly considering retiring from column writing late next month. If you didn't know this, I suggest you read the first paragraph of every column for the last six months. I give it until Royal Rumble until he returns to hand out Fingers of Shame.

Actually didn't read. Just clicked on to comment on how irresponsible it is to link any performer to a murderer in your headline. I suppose click getting is the goal in the high stakes world of free wrestling column writing. Shawn Michaels was an undersized wrestler with concussions... He hasn't killed anyone, yet. Did you mention Benoit's steroid abuse and Bryan's squeaky cleanliness, or did that not support your thesis? Chris Nowinski had a slew of concussions from football & wrestling, and instead of ending in tragedy his story ends in him being arguably the most significant figure in the history of concussion research. Did you bring him up? You are the Brooklyn Brawler of LoP columnists.
