But I saw it as a positive side. They try to help us with educational development. As many Ethiopian know very well, British council helped us for our improvement of English language. The government representative do not say that they want interfere in our political or economical development. I read only they want help rural communities schools,gender equity,quality of education. I also read that they try to study about it. This is good. This is not a matter of colonization. I think no one hate quality of education. Now a days, Ethiopian quality of education is quite dearth. Students who promote from G10 have no enough knowledge. It is clear for everybody. So I appreciate Britain aid. But the only fear of mine school principals illegal and immoral tasks. I knew that they allowed to their students copy each other at the examination time.Even some immoral and unethical teachers try to give the answer to the students. The reason was getting reward. They may will do the same thing to get that fund. So our government and the representative of Britain aid should check the quality of education. Where are we going? who is the responsible person? parents? schools? bars? or others? I think those three are the main responsible bodies. The government should punish these selfish bar owners. For many Ethiopians modernization means violating cultural values. But when we go to Sodere and Langano, we can see these kinds of youngsters. You can't imagine that they are Ethiopian.They are completely out of our culture. They create new Europe in our country. They smoke cigarette, drink alcohol, make love, etc. I wonder why their parents do not control their children. Any ways God bless Ethiopia.
