I'm sorry, but this is just proof that violence can happen anywhere. Do you best to protect yourself and be safe, in general. It sounds like a lot of people were in the wrong place at the wrong time and I feel empathy for them, truly. It's just naive to think you are safe anywhere anymore - oh, how I wish that wasn't true. I hope all who are injired, recover fully and quickly!

I feel for these people who are just trying to start over. I wish them the best of luck! Its tough out there, especially after you just bought a previous meth house. I hope it can all work out for them.
I'm glad something like this exsists for those who really need it. For those who just eat crap and never move and gain weight, maybe exercise and avoiding perservatives and high fatty foods is worth a try (long term, and not just go through the motions) first? Just a thought from a previously unhealthy excuse maker who lost 70 pounds and has now had a heatlhy lifestyle for over 12 years.

It's amazing to me how angry people get when someone needs to be rescued outdoors. Yet, other accidents/mistakes, which are FAR more common (car accidents, slip and falls at home, fires, sports injuries) conjure up sympathy and empathy. Yes, there are some miniscule costs for rescues, but the majority is through donations and volunteers so rescues HURT NO ONE. But, NOT rescuing hurts those who explore hobbies outdoors and get into trouble for one reason or another. As for soccer injuries, accidents in the home, etc... injuries happen and resources are used all the time, but its more acceptable to some because they can relate better for one reason or another. I don't gripe when someone needs assistance on a sports field, in a home, in a car, on a highway, etc. You shouldn't gripe when someone who has different hobbies and interests than you needs assistance in the wilderness.

So sad for this woman. Catch the monster who did this and lock him up for life because that's how long she will have to live with what he did. Rapists are an animal that should just be put down, but at the very least, please, justice system, keep him off the streets once you get him! Please!
