http://lesleyliftinglife.com/ : I'm allliiiiiive! (And Good Health KC Magazine)

They did give me credit, they just also had a misprint next to it, so it's not as bad as it sounds when you look at it.

We actually sold the vending business this summer. Erik had finished his masters and was wanting to find a more full-time job, as it would have been impossible to do both. So it was a good time to move on! Thanks for checking in;)

This was my first time putting actual puree in a drink, too. Was skeptical at first, but ended up loving it :)

http://lesleyliftinglife.com/ : DIY: Chalkboard mugs & wine glasses

Hi Amanda,

No, the runs will not bake out. The paint will look exactly the same when it comes out of the oven as when it goes in. I would try sanding down the runs and touching the sanded parts up with just a little bit more paint, enough to cover it but not enough that it could run again. Hope that helps, and good luck :)

Lesley

Yes, something like that, definitely. It's a lot of fun. It originated in KC but they've been going on in many other cities too so perhaps there will be one near you soon ;) http://www.caffeinecrawl.com/

http://lesleyliftinglife.com/ : Homemade sucanat powdered sugar

Yes, I do! Sucanat does have a distinct flavor to it, though, more of a brown sugar/molasses tint so it does differ from regular powdered sugar in that way just so you know in advance. And it will produce a brown color rather than white. If you try it, you'll have to let me know how it works out. Good luck :) And also, feel free to sub out the sucanat with regular organic cane sugar if you wish too!

Yes, Fervere is awesome. They sell loafs of bread on Thursday, Friday (11 a.m. to sell out) and Saturdays (9:30 to sell out), use organic ingredients, and they are delicious! Located right next to Blue Bird. Then cheese slipper Saturday nights are just the icing on the cake ;)

http://www.asocalledrunner.com/ : where to go from here?

I know what you mean! I feel like I don't post anything very "personal" anymore and I sometimes miss it! Then I kind of feel like my audience has become something I can't be quite as "personal" on that I used to be. But then I think of other's blogs and I tend to like the blogs that post on a variety of topics in their life the best. The personal touch of family is a great addition to any blog, no matter what the topic! :)
