Actually - the Lord challenged us to go into all the word and preach the GOOD NEWS - and by Good News - He meant the salvation message. You should allow the Holy Spirit to bring conviction. That's one of His responsibilities. It's never been ours. Have you ever heard the phrase - "Preach the Gospel always, and if necessary, use words." Our Fruits should speak for themselves and they should challenge others around us to be moved closer to the Lord... not our preaching at people. If you live your life as a Loving, Caring, Forgiving Christian - the Holy Spirit will do the rest of the work (convicting others) through your Godly fruit.... It's our human nature - or flesh - that makes us want to "perfect" others. It was never our place or commission to be judge, jury or even lawyer. It's our task to be ambassadors for Christ sharing the Good News.
