this is why it's so easy to ferret out the filler/shill/fake-con type motivation; they can't stand that most of us are non-partisan, independents who think for ourselves.

neither loving nor hating Ignatieff myself just a thought about your "lack of Canadian experience" comment. please define Canadian experience? a lot of ppl think it is the sanitized pale skinned Euro version which is an *import of settlers to an land that was described as "empty" even though souls lived and thrived there; what about the oppressed "surplus population" relegated to backwaters and untenable land, raped and murdered as children in assimilation schools (aka residential schools)? or the African slaves traded by grey nuns? or Africville's short existence? come on. and unprecedented? dude as i suggested previously this whole country is founded on that very precedent: the immigrant bringing his/her skill and ability (for free) to this country. that a Canadian like Ignatieff, who was born here, could go travel the world and bring back that worldly experience is double the benefit to us. there are (day old) new Canadians who are immigrants with lifetimes of experience that they are willing to share with us; we're luckier for it.

"inasmuch as you have done it unto the least of these..." and "G-d is no respecter of persons"... and knowing to do good but not doing it... although not a Christian (but seriously considering Abraham's way) i do expect Christ-like behaviour of Christians including the self-defining (as Christian) minority representational head of this country. the "fruits" of their behaviour is what guides me.

wiki info may be skewed ofttimes but so are the history books which are written by the victors: same diff. by your lights you are enlightened is a wise saying. relying on one source of info is unwise; but it can help in a pinch.

Macleans.ca : Coming soon to a pre-election ad campaign near you: A lightning rod in a sweater vest?

hmm; the Fake-Cons (they are NOT conservative) ridiculed that team approach last time; not buying it. and PMStephen child star doesn't know how to share unless he's holding the leash real tight (witness his lecturing Van Loan what to say while Van Loan was being asked a question during QP by Bob Rae on more than one occasion) as for Nanos, he may be good with numbers, but his love for Stephen (CPAC circa march 2008) gives me the willies.

Dion paid a big price to let us see the truth. he knew (as did a few of us out here) that the current embarrassment in Ottawa sought sexy career advancement through manufactured crises regardless of the cost to real human beings and our country. he did us all a big favour. as usual i see derision instead of understanding and appreciation by that "Dionism" theory.

the inconvenience of an election would interfer with your vacation plans eh? $300M as opposed to what? $50B+ (maybe $100B or higher?)? an election is pennies on that deficit dollar.
