Big Government : Judge Napolitano's Rant Is Right: It's About 'Them'

And the sad truth is that people are still careless or ignorant enough to vote for people like Harry Reid despite his hand in passing Obamacare against the will of the majority of Americans. Worse is the hoops our would be candidates have to go through to run for election and if they do manage to leap all the hurdles they still ultimately wind up running against some inexplicably well financed schmuck whose machine is in overdrive day and night to defame his or her closest competition. This is why it's called "the system". Our "leaders" have gone to great lengths to ensure they stay in power as long as they can including ensuring the incumbent always has the upper hand and that it's next to impossible to impeach them.

Big Government : Senator Mike Lee: Obama ‘Manifestly Wrong’ on U.S. Constitution

Quoting Obama "They'll learn to like it in time". According to the Declaration of Independence "Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." Our constitution was designed so that we the people should never have to suffer tyrants like Obama for very long. It's time the people of this country wake up and speak up or be forever silent as our so called "representatives" grin at us as they demonize and ridicule those of us who dare to disagree with them.

Breitbart.tv : Maxine Waters: Don't Let GOP 'Demons' In 'Our Hall'

Please tell me she is up for re-election this fall! Her unwillingness to compromise is EXACTLY why our government is so impotent. Meanwhile she can grin at the fact the democrats and MSM continue to berate the republicans over the very same thing they are guilty of. Alynski's tactics through and through.

Big Government : Is There Life for Mitt After Florida?

The trick is that Newt is not beholden to the republican party and so would not be theirs to control. A newbie like Romney is just up their alley. Their dilemma is that Romney is a long shot against Obama given his corporate ties.

Leftist attacks? It has been Romney and his campaign who has been tearing down every one of the candidates from day one. Most notably Herman Cain. Newt, in contrast, was the only one staying on message reminding us at each debate that Obama should be our focus and that infighting will do us no good. What's more is that the left has all but admitted that they would prefer to run against Romney as he IS the weakest candidate from their point of view. Doesn't it strike you odd that the MSM has given Romney a pass while they have been laying into all the other front runners? Now the left, according to Rush Limbaugh, has begun to run slanderous adds against Romney on behalf of Newt in hopes of halting Newts advance. I knew this was going to be an ugly presidential race but I had no idea the primaries would be this ugly. While I'm hoping the republican candidate doesn't have to weather endless months of liberal bashing I also believe we need to chose a candidate to rally behind so we can get our checks in the mail sooner rather than later.

Every word spoken by these candidates can be considered "pandering". Let's try not to make it sound like one of them is doing it less or more than the other. At least Newt is running on his ideas rather than resorting to character assassination of all his opponents. That said you might also consider that his ability to influence liberals could be considered an asset especially when faced with the polarity that exists in our congress. In contrast Mitt does indeed represent everything that the moderates and lefties have been taught to hate about America.

Obama can and MUST be defeated. We cannot afford another four years of his policies. Have we forgotten so soon the lengths to which this senate and this administration went to in order to impose obamacare? First they try to pass it without letting members of the senate read the bill telling us " we have to pass it to see what's in it". Then they reluctantly give the members of congress 72 hours to read it before passing it. When it didn't get the votes they needed they began devising a way to "deem" it passed without even putting it to a vote. In the end they managed to twist enough arms and pay off enough members to get it passed. When the president was asked if he would sign the bill despite public outcry against the bill he replied" they will learn to like it". We need to oust this wannabe dictator while we have the opportunity. We cannot afford to wait for his time limit to expire. How many times must he threaten to act without the consent of congress before the American people wake up?

Personally I'm curious why Mitt is even running. It's hard to tell where any mufti-millionaire's loyalties lye outside of personal gain. Whereas Newt has stayed out of it and was content to write books and "consult" until Obama began sabotaging our nations collective future by imposing antagonistic and anti-American policies. Here's how I look at it. Newt started off his campaign for the nomination with a positive message whereas Romney has been busy tearing down each and every one of his opponents since day one. When confronted about patent lies about his opponents Mitt's response was that he had no control over what his superpacs say. This says to me that Mitt has deliberately been attacking his opponents. Such a man has no honor and is not worthy to lead. Newts current reprisals are just that. They are merely a reaction to the constant onslaught from Romneys campaign. You be the judge but it is my hope, as things are, that Newt ultimately gets the nomination. He may not be the choice we had all been hoping for but he is a far cry better than a bored power hungry millionaire and infinitely better than the current poser in the oval office.

I would prefer a true conservative that was not beholden to either political party. That said I would settle for just one whose primary focus would be to render some damage control and roll back everything Obama has done. Perhaps then we can pick up where we left off and make some "change" for the better.

Big Government : President Obama’s Inane Payroll Tax Campaign Ploy

Smoke and mirrors folks. I'm sure he's all to happy to play the shell game with our money in an effort to wiggle out a few more votes. More importantly is that he is likely to make all kinds of promises of things what wouldn't kick in till 2013 just as he did with Obama care. We haven't even begun to feel the real effects of Obama care. Right now our country is only suffering from case of nerves. We haven't even begun to see the real costs of it yet. Businesses are sitting on their money and cutting to the bone as they wait and see what is going to happen. When they have to start providing insurance for every full time employee there will be a rash of people either being laid off or having their hours reduced just so companies can stay afloat. What we are feeling is just the sniffles before the fever kicks in. Our only hope is to repeal Obama care and that is NOT going to happen as long as Obama is in office.

Big Government : The Welfare State Neutralizes Opponents by Making Them Dependent on Government

It almost seems inevitable that regardless of the system of government adopted the end result is the few oppressing many. Even communism which is at times touted as "utopian" has seen all the wealth and power consolidated and controlled by a few while the rest of the nation sacrifices and suffers living marginal existences. The U.S. constitution was supposed to prevent the government from seizing all the wealth and power for itself and yet there are still millions of useful idiots more than happy to hand it over for the mere promise of security and comfort for themselves regardless of the cost to their children and grandchildren. Whether they see it or not they are selling generations of their people, countrymen and even family into slavery all because they feel they are owed or entitled to something simply because they decided to get out of bed this morning.

Big Government : Union Radicals Harass Teacher Who Dared to Support Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker

Interesting how we hear all of the talk from the left about cyber bullying yet somehow they think it's justifiable as long as the "victim" is someone they disagree with. They prattle on incessantly about civil rights, equality and tolerance but just as soon as a decenter becomes vocal and gets a little attention they assail them from every angle. The occupy protesters continue to invoke the second commandment as justification for invading city parks for months on end yet when this woman speaks out and exercises HER second amendment rights she is accosted and berated for speaking up. Double standards is an understatement!

Big Government : 'Occupation' Is Not 'Speech': #OccupyBoston, #OccupyDenver Lose in Court

They protest Wall Street under the premise that it's corrupt and unjustly influencing politics yet they apparently have not stopped once to consider that their beloved government is equally culpable by accepting favors and campaign donations that are little more than bribes and pay-offs.In this scenario it takes two to tango and I'm of the opinion that they are both "in bed" together and equally to blame. From one side of the equation you have lobbyists trying to influence votes and on the other you have the politicians setting the terms and eventually agreeing to vote this way or that. The difference here that the left seems accepting of crooked and self serving politicians but somehow expect the business to have integrity instead. They don't see that they have it all backwards. Businesses exist solely to make a profit and our elected representatives are supposed to facilitate governance of the people, for the people and by the people.

Breitbart.tv : Cain Out

The accusations of flirting with and/or making women uncomfortable we could have lived with but providing "financial assistance" to a female "friend" without your wife's knowledge for 13 years is suspicious to say the least. Thirteen years? Expecting us to believe she was anything other than a mistress would be like asking us to believe Obama spent 20+ years listening to Jeremiah Wright despite disagreeing with him. Alas it seems we are in for another round of divisive racially motivated theatrics disguised as denunciation.

From what I have seen the list of enemies to any conservative candidate, except Romney, grows longer by the day. Worse is that is would seem the republican members of this political machine are getting in on the action. While I can see why The democrats might have feared running against another black man I can also see how certain members of Romneys' staff might have been privy to such liaisons of Mr Cain having previously worked for Cains' campaign. It should also be noted that Romney has all but admitted he is willing to sabotage the campaigns of others to win. Also it should be noted that Romney has been left untouched by the MSM while they proceed to tear apart all other contenders. Meanwhile the talking heads on both the left AND the right have been talking about all the heat Romney has been taking when he has taken virtually no save that for the lack of actual assaults he has had to weather from the left. Something smells fishy and I honestly don't want another McCain forced upon us as a means to secure a victory for Obama. We must not fail to remove Obama. If Obama wins another term he better be prepared to declare martial law because the people would go ape$hit.

I have to agree. What I am curious about now is what people the remaining candidates have in mind for their potential running mates. Furthermore I'm curious to know which of the candidates left would consider being vice president should they not win the candidacy. A willingness to serve as VP might show how serious they are about getting our nation back on track. I guess in the end I'm not only concerned about who becomes our candidate but also how strong will the ticket as a whole be. The last election showed us how important the ticket as a whole. It's my opinion that no matter how many of us liked Palin she was just not liked or respected enough to compensate for McCain's weaknesses. With the right ticket, say a Gingrich/Romney ticket for example, Obama would be doomed from the start. Personally I'm not prepared to put all my hopes in one person but the right team could truly coalesce the base and get the snowball rolling down the hill. As it goes we already know that the left is not going to hold any punches and we need Romney's network and financing but we also need Gingrich's knowledge and, as he put's it, wisdom to fend off the relentless assaults that are sure to come. Obama has already stated that it will be no more Mr. nice guy and so their whole approach in this campaign will be to wear down their opponents since they have nothing good about Obama to say outside of their are, in their own opinions, better than the other guy.

"And many teachers seem to be heeding the call. For example, hundreds of Oakland teachers signed a pledge sheet a few weeks ago to use precious class time to teach their students about the noble “Occupy” protesters and the evil corporations on Wall Street." This is what kills me. These people villainize businesses for trying to influence politicians yet give the politicians a pass for willfully exchanging "favors" for campaign contributions. They brush it off saying that's just how Washington works and that's "politics" . They have no compunctions about laying blame on anything or anyone outside of Washington failing to realize, as Reagan did, that the government IS THE PROBLEM.
