Big Hollywood : Burt's Eye View: Liberalism is a Cult

Don't see where you said you were Catholic . . . and I think the fact that there WERE 12 is a bit of community organizin' . . . otherwise, he coulda gone it solo, and not bothered involving others at all. Sorta basic. And as for "Our Lord's pronouns"? It's a personal choice. You may have to look that up.

I do care about the religious right and their agenda . . . it affects a lot of policy, and therefore, a lot of people, in our country. What a ramble! I would argue that much of liberalism isn't rewriting the gospel, it's getting closer to the spirit of Christ. And, Jesus was a community organizer, it's sad that you think he wasn't involving anyone else. He should just rapture us all now, I guess, since his followers are apparently so useless? Liberalism is not about coercion, and isn't the antithesis of charity. A nice compact little closer, with little meaning.

No, but thanks for caring! Christianity does not equal conservatism, in spite of the last 20 years of PR which would lead you to believe that.

To be honest, I'm not sure I know the diff between the terms. I just know that I'm not conservative anymore, and that most of my positions on issues, etc., do not line up in the conservative column. And I used to be very conservative. Voted Repub most of my life 'til Obama. And I campaigned for him. I'm probably more moderate in some ways, or more like a born-again Liberal, perhaps a toddler in the Liberal ranks? Not sure it's quite so definable. So I find the big generalizations about either side to be just dopey.
