I'm relieved to finally hear that I am not the only one who questioned the male udders in Barnyard. And I'm a city boy! I suspect there were a lot of rural movie-goers who were shaking their heads at that.

I think the best way to deal with a fitted sheet is to take it straight out of the dryer and put it right onto the bed. That gives me more time to read and spend time with others. That's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it... Great post, Ryan!

WordPress blog at kevinkeigley.com : Things and Stuff and Such 7

1. I'm performing as long as there are no other cars right beside me. Then I just hum along. 2. In a moment of total stupidity I once spent way too much money on a fancy vacuum cleaner. Never ever ever buy a vacuum that you have to finance. Better to let your carpet get dirty instead. 3. My favorite scar is the one my wife put into my forehead with her engagement ring when she playfully backhanded me after I told a goofy joke. She says she forgot that she was wearing it. Hmm...

Maurilio Amorim : Death on Facebook: Digital Love, Honor and Kindness

Like a knife, a car, a hammer or a flame, Facebook is a tool. It can be used both for "good" or for "evil". I love to hear of encouraging stories like this that show just how effective social media can be for substance and for good. I would never have learned of or been touched by Mr. Tippett's story without it. Thanks, Maurilio!

Lindsey Nobles : A Couple of Good Excuses & Some Pics

My favorite December memory is having our daughter phone to tell us how excited she was about coming home for Christmas. She lives 2000 miles away, and it's always nice to see her again face to face, give her a big hug, and let her know how proud we are to be her parents.
Maurilio Amorim : A Giving Perspective

I agree that we should research the charities we donate to and make sure that they are good stewards of the funds we give them. But I was amazed last week when a bunch of people got upset about the Salvation Army giving small Christmas gifts to prison inmates (my latest blog post). Some swore they would not give to Salvation Army any more. Seems that they felt that prison ministry was a "misuse" of their funds. I guess they hadn't read Matthew 25.

I never used to wear hats, or enjoy wearing them. Most hats don't fit me well, so they tend to look and feel a bit dorky. But now I have a Barmah kangaroo leather hat that I love to wear. I get compliments on it all the time. I like how it looks and feels on my head. I had to get an XXL, but it fits (and looks) like a hat should.
