What a shame - people like Candice and Genevieve usually do good work. If I were either of them, I would worry about how this show would affect my credibility as a designer with talent and taste. I know nothing about Vern, but perhaps he was always less than credible. I believe you can walk into most furniture stores in any city in the USA and find better room designs than the ones being shown on this program. So, either the format of the program needs serious changes, or those people involved in selecting star candidates are failing at the job. As it is, the show only manages to reflect badly on the people involved in making it.
