I'm sorry, but you are incorrect, as viable babies are currently aborted in this country, despite a ban on partial birth abortion, which is only one method of ending a late term pregnancy. Dr. Tiller was still performing these abortions for women who travelled to his clinic until recently when he was gunned down by a mentally ill man. Lacking the moral or intellectual abilities necessary to make sound judgments is not something of which to be proud; rather, it's the root cause of most societal problems today. Sadly, liberal brainwashing has been so successful that many persons are barely able to utter a declarative sentence for fear of being "judgmental." I'm pro-choice as well. I believe a woman has the choice of controlling herself (we're not, after all animals in heat), utilizing free and readily available birth control, or giving birth if she does become pregnant. I don't condone the euphamism of "choice" for murding another human being, whatever stage its development. Again, ideas have life-altering consequences, just look around and don't be afraid of the truth.

If we can kill a full term baby at the mother's whim, what the heck do you expect when there is absolutely no respect for life? I cannot understand why anyone would be surprised at all. Further, this is just the beginning, because as we continue to tear down civilization, civilized behavior that we rely on in order to go about our daily lives will also diminish. At least we are "tolerant" and "inclusive" and value "diversity" above all else, including truth. Unfortunately, we're going to have to live with the results of our corporate vacuousness and lack of moral fortitude. Get a gun.

Pre-existing conditions are usually not covered for a short period of time to prevent people from not paying insurance premiums, and then buying it at the last minute when they have a serious health problem. Insurance companies, unlike the government, do not have unlimited access to funds, neither can they just print money. If subscribers don't pay in, there is no money to pay out. Democratic talking points are both dishonest and silly. Your description of health care in the U.K. contradicts most reports. I welcome you to avail yourself of the U.K.'s high taxes and poor service. We love our freedom and do not need the governement to take care of us.

I'm not in a big hurry, but it's a road, not a park or a bike lane. Should I be able to take my car and run people off the road who are strolling in a park? No, it's an inappropriate use. We live and work here, and the speed limit is a safe speed for cars, It is not safe when "sharing" the road with bicycles who believe that they own the road. I do believe that they should have license plates and be ticketed when they cause accidents. Cars are ticketed if going too slow on the freeway, why should bikes be allowed to cause dangerous conditions by travelling in the middle of the road at 15 or 20 mph?

Has political correctness robbed everyone of their common sense? I live in a rural area where everyone fears all summer that they will hit one of the bikes driving at 20 mph on a road with a speed limit of 50 mph. Nothing can make your heart stop like topping a small rise or round a curve with short site distance and finding a group of slow-moving bikes in the middle of the road refusing to move over or even ride single file. We're held hostage by these selfish, arrogant people. They should stay in town and cause dangerous situations in their own neighborhoods, not on our country roads that we rely on for transportation, not sport.

It's standard practice to put totally insane, hallucinating criminals in the state hospital until they are deemed competent for trial. Then they are usually sentenced to prison instead of the hospital because it's cheaper for the state.

Clearly you missed mine. I don't believe there was a death threat and I'm sick of liberals always resorting to having received death threats when they are backed into a corner. The conversation then gets redirected to how terrible it was to send a death threat, and we feel sorry for the threatened party. Why such a transparent ploy is so successful is beyond me, especially when so many of these "threats" are later proved to be perpetrated by the threatened party or group for political purposes.

I read somewhere that Obama also quoted from the Bible and the Talmud in his infamous speech. Does anyone know if this is true? I hate it when the media distorts news by leaving out information.
