"He strove to energize a key Democratic constituency hours after polls opened in the East and Midwest." In other words, he waited until his supporters started getting out of bed.

Breitbart.com : Judge block Gulf offshore drilling moratorium

Obama lied when he said the experts recommended the moratorium. They recommended exactly the opposite, saying that stopping active wells created more danger than not. Obama's staff then amended the report to say what he wanted, and he misrepresented it. There is a letter circulating from the actual experts saying that they supported keeping the drills going. Can you imagine if Bush did these things?

Shocking actually. It's been underreported, though, that Obama's order to stop drilling is actually more dangerous than continuing to drill, according to the very panel of experts Obama commissioned. The order, although endangering, was just a political move to show his green bona fides and that he was "doing something"..

The UN is indifferent to the totalitarian communists in North Korea when they sink ships and kill 50 sailors of our democratic ally, South Korea. However, when a democratic country tries to stop arms smuggling well, hey, the U.N. is all over it. We should follow McCain's advice and start a new alliance of democratic nations - a Union of Democracies.

Breitbart.com : Lawmaker: Obama to send 1,200 troops to border

How about some "stimulus"? Build 3 fences with 20 feet in between, and a guard tower and/or cameras every 100 - 200 yards. A junior high kid could figure out how to stop this invasion, but our federal government pretends that it's an impossible task.

Most Americans with any common sense (i.e., those of us who work outside of government) would tell you that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Meaning, a smaller up front investment in securing the border would save billions in social services, etc., necessary to deal with the illegal population. Build the damn fence and deploy troops.

Breitbart.com : Vatican laments drop in confessions

A lot of problems in the Church began with the baby boomers and the liberal priests of the 1960s and 70s. I am told that today's seminarians are much more conservative than the priests of these decades.

Breitbart.com : Vatican laments drop in confessions

All of the priests I've known in my 40 years have been great men. And, due to institutional controls implemented since the abuse scandal, Catholic parishes are extremely safe. For better or worse, you would not be allowed now to leave your children alone with a priest. (This protects the Church as well as the child.) Kids are safer at a Catholic parish than they are in a public school.

Breitbart.com : Vatican laments drop in confessions

Confession or, more aptly, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, is one of the greatest things about being Catholic. It's a shame that many of us (I am guilty too) do not take this opportunity to "go back to God" enough. If you are Catholic and have not gone to confession for a while, do yourself a favor and go; even if it has been decades since your last confession.
