My guess is that she will start attributing it to a) thrift culture as seen in a buzzfeed list or b) some kind of spiritual journey she read about in a bestseller ("I'm detoxing you guys, but from the capitalism causing toxins, not the cellulite causing ones,"), or she will get pushed out of the group. OR she will start charging them for home made colonics?

I think what made me angry wasn't their honesty (and I always find it hard when white people get praised for their honesty - when black people are honest they are told they are aggressive, too angry, crazy, etc.) - it was the fact that it seemed their concern about their racist neigbourhood started at the exact same point where it might start to affect their personal lives. White people should always be concerned about the racism around them.
