What was interesting were some commercials from back when Schwarzenegger was trying to reign in the PEUs in CA, before he became a de facto Democrat. One commercial had a fireman, a teacher and a nurse bemoaning the fact that Arnold was little more than tool of special interests, and had refused to raise the minimum wage, and was even attempting to (GASP) shorten employee lunch hours. Money quote from one of the PEU members, "He's not against special interests, he's against us." I might have actually stayed in CA if some of those early reforms had come to be, but instead the government has continued to bloat with no end in sight and businesses continue to leave because they can't afford to stay. I was thinking about transferring the commercials to my computer and posting them so people can compare and contrast them to the drivel that was coming out of Wisconsin earlier this year. It was amusing that one of the commentors on the original article attempted to dismiss the fact that Phelps and family are Democrats and claimed that freedom was the loser because Phelps was not allowed to spew his "religion-based hatred". What a load! I would bet money that if Phelps was either a) a Republican or b) railing against something like AGW or Dr Utopia, then his free speech rights would be far less important to the Left, like when anyone criticizes the CAIR Bears.
