I make around $26/hour, am allowed very little overtime and pay for my own health insurance (as the VAST MAJORITY of federal workers do) and am directly affected by obamacare (as the VAST MARJORITY of federal workers are). Translation: I am NOT RICH and need my measly little old pay raise in order to be able to exist on, much less live on. I would like to see ANY of your do the job I do for the money I make, must less, as one individual up above put it, 25% less... I am (was?) only looking at a 1.4% raise this coming January to begin with, but with my health care going up, my federal taxes probably going up (in the range of $500 extra coming out a month), my property taxes going up, food going up, gas going up, etc, etc, I will be LOSING a vast amount of money every month.
