As a Pennsylvanian I would have to say that our gun laws are better than most. Open carry does not require a permit in the first place here, so the cops were slightly more ignorant than this article lets on. Permits for concealed carry are quite easy to come by only requiring a stop by the courthouse and a sign off from the local sheriff every five years. Anywhere other than Philly or Pittsburgh we still have a well armed relatively polite society. Heck our legislature is working on a castle doctrine (ie. backing off or running away is not legally necessary as a precursor to violent self defense) as I type. Granted we are surrounded by MD, NJ, and NY who have some of the most asinine gun laws in the nation, but PA is a decent place for gunowners.
In PA a license is only necessary for concealed carry. If the gun is legally owned open carry is acceptable anywhere other than a courthouse or school.
Not arguing that Barry is a good leader, just that he is an extremely impressive politician that has made people feel that he "capitulated" by simply doing something expected of anyone else. Everything the "man" does is a calculated political move. He essentially gave up absolutely nothing, and people are calling it a win?
Lets push for Iran and the Saudis have it out. The more of them that kill each other, the better off the world is.

The simple fact that anyone is excited about the release of a simple birth cert is a clear example of how he is still at least 15 steps ahead of most of us.
Islam cannot stand up to scrutiny, period. Violence and outright lies are the only things holding """"""""""The Religion of Peace""""""""" together.
Maybe the Syrian protesters just don't have enough support from the Muslim Brotherhood lobby......
