<description>An armed society is a polite society. If you look at the cities and states with the highest violent crime rates they also have the most restrictive gun control laws. Active shooters (and criminals in general) do there best to ensure that there targets can&amp;#039;t fight back. That&amp;#039;s why they choose locations where people either can&amp;#039;t lawfully be, or are less likely to be armed. When was the last time an active shooter incident happened at a police station?  </description>

<description>There was a lack of media coverage there. One station spoke of &amp;quot;a couple hundred people&amp;quot; in attendance (though the camera shot showed significantly more). Even then, there was only fifteen to thirty seconds of airtime, compared to the 2-3 minutes dedicated to covering an art show nearby.  </description>
