More focus needs to be put on those countries which are compelling its citizenry to flee in fear or hardship from their own duly constituted territories instead of wasting time blaming the United States citizenry of being bigots. I challenge you to leave your front and backdoor open to allow anyone who feels the need to spend a few years in your home free passage without restriction and then fund them so a politician can get re-elected. You can bet the officials' doors are deadbolted steadfastly, their property patrolled 24/7 with armed guards and our tax dollars go to protect them lest some undesirables happen to wander in along with a majority of good people. It's really a very simple thing to ask for our American protection without being labelled as racists, xenphobes, whatever. It's protection against the deterioration of a system of law which affords legal immigration without restriction. Anarchy and lawlessness is what we are asked to accept now.

Laws were meant to prevent individuals on either side of an issue from doing things that would hurt them or invade their sovereignty. What would not be good would be to mirror Mexican law and practices and abandon our American System of compassion for the downtrodden. Is there no such thing as an accident anymore? Maybe the pilot could have ditched in the surf and killed a beaching whale so PETA could have something to whine about. If he couldn't see out of his window, how could he know where anything was? I'm sure he was at fault because he and his passenger didn't take the time to discuss the options, vote on the best solution, get on the radio to ask the FAA about proper protocol . . . if he would have been doing loops and dives in a residential area and killed people, then I could understand the "selfish" remark. My condolensces to the jogger and his family and to the pilot who innocently and accidentally killed him.
