I love the lethality of Infinity as well, too bad the rules are just a clusterfuck of confusion.

Awesome guys, thanks for getting the ball rolling. So back on topic here, do you think 35pt games are more tactical than 50pts? I've been playing a ton of 50pts (up from 35) and 1500 (down from 2k) for WM and 40K and I've noticed drastic differences in the games I play. In Warmachine, if I run into a bad match-up at 35, I feel the same problem (although less of) at 50 points. The only thing that's different is that there's more models on the table. In 40K, I feel that the game is more tactical at that level and there's less room for error.

So going off this experience: Is this accurate enough for both 40K and Warmachine? Is the game more tactical at 35 points than 50? Is 50 points played just because there's more toys to play with?

I'd also like to add one more thing:
Do you think certain warcasters/locks play better at 50 points than 35? (think Tyranids)

Worrisome =/= end of the world.

I know! I hear good things about the Gutter Runners and I have see many warmachines slain because of their surprisingly accurate shots. Of course, there's been those games where they've failed horribly too... but that seems to be a common case with Skaven.

How big do you guys usually run the Slaves? I see 50 w/ Musician to be a very common number..

I think I'll keep the Bell. It's just a crazy model and the randomness that comes with it could be very exciting to see on the battlefield! I'll try this list for now because I want something radically different than my High Elves. This might be just the thing!

I would kill for some Gutter Runners with Poison Slings... but what to drop?!

I'm kind of on the fence about Hell Pits. They're great ingame, but I hate the mode and the fluff. I can care less about Clan Moulder stuff really.. hence the reason why I don't have any Rat Ogres and decided to drop Queek. I mean, if Queek didn't always have to challenge, I might of considered him, but I see him as a giant liability a this point.

I guess this isn't the most competitive build for Skaven, but I don't care! The models are very impressive and the shear scale of the army is mighty to behold :)

I'm not sure if I agree that playing to win automatically means you're a dick. One of the friendliest people I know play with dual Hydra, Sac Dagger, Wych hordes and/or other beardy shit. Just because he's playing to win doesn't mean he's a dick.

Double Grey Seer? I'm guessing one takes Plague and one takes Ruin. What about Warlords? If I drop Queek, what should the Warlord look like? Thanks :)
