"Things such as party cups, plates, napkins, and party music were offered. If they were marketing this to guys, none of this would be listed." - I think they did that because they might believe it might motivate girls to set up their gaming party all 'cute' like :P

Maybe they think the Wii would be more fun for the "girl night with Madden".... but honestly, I worked at EBGames/Gamestop for 3 years, ever since the Wii came out, I sold only like 5 Maddens ever.. and it was mainly to little kids. I have no idea why they would promote the Wii version the most! Makes no sense to me, when I think Madden, I think playstation or xbox! (and beer :P)

hahaha when I buy my own island I am buying out every collection of games of every game system and have a library of them for my island. I can give you a giant mansion down the block :D and don't worry 1337 island will have DS3 or an OC3 internet connection ;)

Great article! I can admit, I've gone to the mall before with a "free panty" coupon for Victoria's Secret and ended up leaving with a new ds stylist set or yoshi slippers from seeing the game stores while leaving >.< They do draw you in with the fancy advertisements ^.^
