I thought the second season started to gt a little gimmicky toward the end but all in all I whtought it was still a show worth watching. Having read Foundation, I would much prefer it be in the hands of a much more capable sci fi director such as Ridley Scott. That being said, it might not be a total loss. Emmerich does have a decent visual eye, his issues generally lie in story and plot development. If a solid screenwriter gets picked to adapt the story, it could turn out to be okay. All in all I'll be keeping an eye on the project.
