Breitbart.com : House leader Cantor believes Obama is a US citizen

You know, I've always taken for granted that he was born in the U.S., but this has to make one wonder. A Democrat governor wants to settle the matter once and for all, but now all of a sudden the "real" birth certificate is missing? It's almost as if the governor took a look, realized that it didn't say what he wanted it to say, sealed (or destroyed) it, and now pretends it doesn't exist.

Breitbart.tv : Reid: 'But For Me, We'd Be in World-Wide Depression'

I don't get it. If he's gonna go THIS bonkers, then couldn't he just as easily decide he wants to start casting foolish votes like cutting taxes, cutting spending, and spurring the economy? Why must all liberals who lose their marbles move further left?

I don't see any "net negatives" among these comments, from which I infer that no one has stepped up to the plate to defend Mr. Reid. Radical left, where are you? Is this one a little too extreme even for you?

Big Government : U.S. Census Bureau Director Robert Groves’ Letter Announcing Decision to Sever ACORN Ties

Right. Wiretap a conservative group and you're a protected whistleblower. Wiretap ACORN and they become victims and you are demonized. The left gets it both ways. Why is this? It is because the left controls (1) the media; (2) education; and (3) well, all you need is the media and education, and you've got it wrapped up.

True, but the 20% undecided middle isn't among those political junkies like us who actually pay attention to these things. Most won't realize that the media is biased, and some won't care. Obama even does a good job of portraying those who say "unfair media" as sore losers, and even has some people believing that the only biased news source is Fox - to the right. So the less these stories get out through CBS, ABS, and NBS, the more likely they are to keep their boy in power.

ACORN had received 8.1 billion in federal government grants from 1971 through 2009. Imagine what they can do by getting 40 years worth of dollars all in 2010-2011 alone - just in time for the 2012 re-election.

Don't be a fool. This is window dressing only. The census is still being run by Rahm Emmanuel. This is only to create the appearance of fairness, and all they have to do is count everyone once and only once...and then "estimate" how many low-income people they missed in liberal districts and add them in...and then multiply by 1.1, or whatever they calculate it will take to keep the White House when Barack's approval rating is 31%.

When you think about it, we have a 200+ year history of our military fighting to protect the press's First Amendment rights - and a several recent decades history of the press stabbing their protectors in the back. The sad part is, our military is brave and honorable enough that if this same situation occurs again next week, they will go rescue the next left-wing buffoon reporter who stuck his a** where it shouldn't be.

Stupid stupid press, and what a bunch of idiot hostage negotiators. I guess they were only a couple of days away from releasing more terrorists just like Downing Street did last week. The only ones to feel sorry for are the soldier, his platoon, and his friends and family.

Let's all fight over who gets the credit. Or not. OK Worldnetdaily.com broke it first. What is their audience? It would not have become widely known without Glenn Beck's voice. Glenn Beck may or may not have known about it without Worldnetdaily. We need both. We need Beck AND Worldnetdaily. And all the rest. And we do not need to start pitting them against each other. The Left will be perfectly capable of destroying them without our help.

Well organized. You've got the rough outline of a book here. Just fill it in with specific examples. Just to get you started - R: Bob Packwood, Robert Bork, George Allen. D: Robert KKK Byrd, Ted Chappaquiddick Kennedy, Barney Rentboy Frank. Collect the left-wing quotes calling W "Hitler" and contrast them with the left-wing protests over conservatives describing socialized medicine supporters with Nazi-related terms. And here's an entire chapter for you: When Reagan refused to sign the Continuing Resolution bills because they were laden with pork, Democrats got the press's cooperation in calling the government shutdown "Reagan's fault." When the Republican Congress tried to add provisions to Continuing Resolutions and Clinton vetoed the bills, Democrats got the press's cooperation in calling the government shutdown "Congress's fault."

You're 100% right, but let's boil this down to its simplest terms: A person on welfare can vote himself a raise out of my pocketbook. I can vote against that raise, but that person's vote cancels mine. Where in the Constitution is wealth redistribution an enumerated power?

Using Van's own words here: 1. "On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones said in his resignation statement. Q: We've seen this many times. My first recollection is Clinton & Gore running in 1992 painting all opponents with the broad brush of "opponents of change." When are we going to learn this trick and start calling all liberals "opponents of freedom"? 2. Jones said he has been "inundated with calls from across the political spectrum urging me to stay and fight." Across the political spectrum? Inundated? I doubt it. Unless a lot of conservatives thought that the farther left Obama goes, the farther right the country will vote in 2010 and 2012, and wanted him to stay for that reason alone.
