Pink Raygun.com : Fringe: 6:02 AM EST

Walter is weak, nuts and takes a lot of drugs. That stupid neon cross might have provided the extra, ahem, "hit" he needed in order to get through his guilty dilemma at the moment. I agree with you that Olivia's was by far the more profound moment. No comparison.

Well, in your defense, Faraday was a FRINGE inventor/experimentalist/character of sorts. A very cool guy, but not a scientist or a physicist in the same sense as Einstein or Rosalind Franklin. The guy had very little "formal" education. However, that makes him even more amazing in my book. And I'm not sneering at college graduates--I am one. So, you and Salo are both right--as Salo pointed out.

Pink Raygun.com : Fringe: Lysergic Acid Diethylamide

Oy-yo-yoyoyo-oy! That was great episode! And yeah, I think there's some Bell residual goin' on. The Olivia thing where she didn't know if Peter was her true soul-mate/true-love seems to be resolved, thankfully. Too much of a chick thing for me. I think Olivia and Bolivia are the coolest characters in Tee-Vee land right now! "Can't be beat. Won't be beat. Champion of the world!" (Mr. T, "Rocky III")

Pink Raygun.com : That Dana Scully Feeling

I disagree with you somewhat about Scully. First of all, she was a doctor; the 2nd most cliche hero in TeeVee land ever. On top of that, she's a cop--mega-YAWN! Cop = the ultimate formula hero. Plus, Scully was a bit of a whiner and shrill, in my opinion. I agree with you that the underlying cause is TeeVee land itself for BOTH sexes. However, I'm also totally aware that wherever theres a problem in TeeVee land, it's going to be even worse for women and minorities. And I have to concede that Scully is an unforgettable character. Therefore, I accept the possibility that I'm full of it--at least on some level.

I don't know if the story of Walternate is complete yet. He's wily character, therefore I'm unsure of his motivations. He's not as black & white as our Walter is.

Pink Raygun.com : Paul: A Movie For Atheist Geeks

GREAT article! I loved the atheism in "Paul" too. From the other reviews I've read, those "spiritual" "souls" that believe in a vengeful sky-gawd are not pleased with this movie. Good.

Yeah, I agree, "soul magnet" is just too funny. It also implies that the soul is not a supernatural entity at all. It can suck up the "soul" with the very real physics of the REAL world. Of course, they could still blow it bad, but I'll be optimistic for now. Am I not merciful?

Hey, man! Thanks for pointin' this out! Nothin' better than audio plays, IMO. I'll listen every day until I get current. I just listened to 5 episodes. Reminds me of the the audio play on CD of Stephen King's The Mist--which is a 1000 times better than the movie. Thanks again! =)

I guess I'm confused. Why didn't Peter remember Olivia? I now know why he accepted his new dimension digs, but how come he doesn't remember Olivia? Did I miss something? How come Olivia forgot about Peter, also? Maybe they'll both remember at some point, eh?

Heh, heh. You're absolutely right--Peter IS a tool in a way. As far as love and relationships are concerned, he's Oz's scarecrow. He has to wait for both Olivias to give permission to, "Lay that pipe, Rick!"

Pink Raygun.com : Fringe: Immortality

Hehehe. Peter = "Meanie" I don't think Fauxlivia is any better than Olivia. However, I think Olivia has a lot of baggage that Fauxlivia doesn't have to deal with. I feel so sorry for Olivia and the childhood trauma and deaths she's had to suffer through. BUT!!! It IS serious baggage. Olivia is kinna a Clint Eastwoodian-"the woman with no name," sorta. A dark hero. Maybe?

Well, I must admit--Fauxlivia/Foelivia is a great tag! It just fits the best. Very clever. However, since she has "lot'a 'xplainin' to do," I'm still gonna call her Holivia. BEEOUGHTCH!
