Polish Americans have contributed to the US in many ways. Perhaps you have noticed the magnificent Cathedrals’ all over the country. Maybe you have heard of some famous Poles like; Gloria Swanson, William Shattner, Frank Oz, Pat Benatar, Neil Diamond, Wayne Gretzky, Dan Marino(mom was polish), Steve Wozniak(cofounder of Apple), Ruben & Rose Haagen-Dazs(yummy). When Michelle Obama snubbed Poland she slapped the US as well. Polish culture is a major part of this country and even though the Polish people have suffered just as much as any other ethnic group, never once have we ever felt any reparations were owed to us!
