Indeed it was. Seems like someone else (presumably unrelated to FimFlamFilosophy) decided to go back and "animate" the old MAS episodes in the original, traditional 'abridged series' style.

I would guess that as a (probably) smaller Youtuber, they're simply doing it because they can, and are unafraid of copyright strikes or anything else of the sort - kind of like what happened with Fighting is Magic Tribute Edition.

You know it's bad when - as I did not too long ago - you notice an ad for an online toy retailer and absolutely FREAK OUT when it has free shipping to your country...

Now that I look closer actually, her orange mane not only contrasts rather oddly with her blue coat, but next to her dark-purpley dress also manages to create the very same red-and-black effect you mention. Goooood.

Fair enough, to each their own. I found it enjoyable - though I must admit perhaps not quite up to the standard of previous installments - but I can see why others may not like it so much, or at all.

Calling people sheep, however, for voting for it is perhaps a little harsh. Having watched the video of its release at Bronycon I know of at least a large roomful of people who found it funny and worthwhile, and while I would have voted for Canadian Horse Pirates off the top of my head I still think Anthology V is deserving of the top spot. After all, in order for 'sheep' to flock to a popular opinion, said popular opinion still needs to have been established at some point by others who are perhaps more capable of thinking for themselves.

Just checking, did you just watch the bit of #1 in this video or have you actually watched the whole of Anthology V prior? Not assuming that you haven't seen it or saying that it's impossible to dislike it; I just thought that most people would be able to find at least something that they enjoyed in the whole hour-or-so of stuff in Anthology V.
