...I first asked Sen. Estes about this issue in October 2010 at a Town Hall Meeting he attended here in Prosper, Texas as a guest of the Prosper Tea Party of which I am a member. I became aware of the overreaching powers that Oncor Electric and the PUC have here locally in my area. Oncor is bringing "wind energy" to my area and you would be stunned at the broad powers they have to either take people's property via eminient domain, or destroy the value due to easements, or drain property owners financially in legal fees should they make the futile attempt to fight back! It's outrageous! I understand that eminent domain exists and may indeed be necessary at times....but why not COMPENSATE for it??? The power companies have a license to steal with these e.d. powers and they have no problem using these powers against sovereign property owners...What to do?????

I called Senator Estes last week regarding the above mentioned bill...and surprisingly he called me back! Unfortunately, he blew me off...and when I asked, he really wouldn't tell me what's in the bill (too complicated) and just assured me that it was good for Property Owners...

Governor, or even Governor limited to people who are independently wealthy or to folks who can't get a job somewhere else. In the decision to run for public office, those who are successful in the private sector must make a decision as to whether or not they can afford to run and hold public office. I'm a strong advocate for bringing proven business principles to work in the public sector; therefore, I want those with great private sector, free market experience to run for office.

Your comments are appreciated. Mr. Wise is right in that Glenn Beck is to be commended for blending education and entertainment in a way that promotes awareness of the ever growing danger to the republic. However, Wise is correct in that Beck points out the obvious only. What is needed now is a plan of action, an outline for We the People to retake the republic from those who disrepect it and are intend on assimilating it into the greater world community. That's what was missing from the "Restore Honor" rally. Time is NOT on our side. We must act and we must act now. Time for talk is over. Action (or surrender) is the order of the day!

Will Pitts is spot on. We now know the federal legislators are not going to be responsive to their employers, i.e., We the People, and those few brave souls that are in the vast MINORITY. The future can be summed up in three words: SOVEREIGNTY OR SECESSION!
