קײן מאָל ניט אָנהײבט מען אַ ייִדיש װאָרט מיט דער שלאָס-מם.
What claim? I don't see it anywhere, and it certainly wouldn't have been deleted because I don't use n aughty l anguage.
"No!!! I didn't say Michaelson said that."
I never said you did. Michaelson...Niemöller...two completely different names. I think your ease at totally mixing things up proves my point. And what's this "I meant Jews go around saying..." business?! It reads more than a little anti-Semitic.
1. The FORWARD's readers' comments statement does not cover the content of Haaretz.
2. Adding "Haaretz" to the search for "Ronit Peskin" AND "Allison Kaplan Sommer" doesn't exclude much. Do you have something more specific, like with a title and/or date? Or even what the particular attack was?
I checked the seven occurences in the FORWARD where "Ronit Peskin" and "Allison Kaplan Sommer" are found on the same page and found nothing approaching an ad hominem attack. Could you be more specific before I go searching the entire internet?
Doesn't the "The Jewish Daily Forward welcomes reader comments..." statement above rule out ad hominem attacks? Or are ad feminam attacks permitted?
If the point of the article in "Kikar HaShabbat" was that Mayor Nir Barkat dines in a “non-kosher restaurant that violates the Sabbath,” one wonders why even publish the photo of him and Kanye West.
Gratuitous?! It seems to have gotten a reaction from you. Somewhere, the digital layout editor for "The Shmooze" hooks his thumb in his cheek and then pantomimes reeling in a fish.
Given that the Germans themselves are a bit ambivalent about the terms Wiedervereinigung and Vereinigung and seem to officially prefer deutsche Einheit, the pot was stirred before Grass—and others—mentioned Anschluss.
Well let me see if I got this right....You think neighboring countries MIGHT "annihilate" them so instead you figure out a way for Israel's theocracy to "annihilate" them first. I am not sure you can see how insane that sounds.
It sounds like Mutual Assured Destruction to me. Not that it sounds sane, but it does describe if not guided US nuclear doctrine throughout the Cold War.
