So many three female stables. I wonder if the intention is to have a big mutliteam blowoff? I wish they'd all at least dress similar to their allies.
The fact they are heels is what made their WM entrance so weird to me. They came out parade style paying homage to the host city and threw merch into the crowd. What about that is supposed to garnish heat? (I do realize the ultimate goal was to give Braun a plaything to destroy)
I do think history will shine favorably on the Miz. Maybe in the realm of this generation's Honky Tonk Man. Given their accolades aren't the same, they are both better than average workers, great talkers and maintained a near main event level for most of their run.
I like that the kickoff is airing on USA. Gives me a Sunday Night Heat kind of vibe. We never could afford PPVs growing up so as a naieve kid I was always hoping they'd "accidently" play the PPV too.
Watching his shoot interviews literally intimidates me as if I was there in person. Can not imagine what it was like working for that dude when he was young and in full health.
He was my first thought too. Inwish they brought more guys back from that era for appearances. They seem to go to the same well of people a bit too much.
I just rewatched the SummerSlam that took place there with Bret vs Davey. I normally dislike outdoor venues but dang that show was awesome. The crowd was so hot and the seating made it truly look like a noteworthy event.
Wasn't Andre also regarded as a bully to some of the guys in the back though? I feel like I hear stories all of the time of him stepping on people's hair while they're working out or going as far as using his status with the OG Vince to get some of his peers fired. Also, I want to throw out that I by no means think this is as bad as some of the stuff Moola was accused of. I'm just curious where others think the line is.
Indeed. I'm sure everyone can/will find different answers online but doing some quick google-fu, Kane is actually around 6'7 before wearing boots with lifts. When he was Issac Yankeem he was actually billed at that height. I believe Strowman is a legit 6'8.
I met him once all the way back in 98-99. He was moderating a Hardy Boyz signing and could not be nicer. If you get the chance, go do it!
