Don't worry about Integral Archer. He's still on his anti- Fallout: Equestria crusade, which he has been on for years since the community rejected his failed attempt to borrow arguments from Ayn Rand and apply them to Fallout: Equestria without having read more than the first few chapters. (He's also convinced himself that I "plagiarized" him by making a passing mention of that essay without linking it.) Thanks for the support.

And yes, I agree. The story is often described as an emotional roller-coaster, and has several chapters where things are quite dark. Additionally, the story delves into an examination of ethics and morality within the framework of My Little Pony in a way that could easily be a bit too heavy for someone of that age.

Probably because despite the reputation it gets from post like the one above, it actually doesn't have that sort of objectionable content. For example, it depicts a world where rape is a threat, and where there are people guilty of rape, and people victimized by it. But at no point is rape actually depicted in the story.

Sadly, the people who rail against the story being here generally don't care about the actual content. What they imagine the content to be is more important to them.

Although, as Coldkristen points out, the same cannot be said for one of the fan works based off of it.

I recommend the audiobook by CrazedRambling for everyone who, like me, would have a hard time reading a story this long.
