Now there's another novella, to be released in October, called "Serpentine", which accompanies Pullman's other HDM novellas, "Lyra's Oxford", about an incident that happens when Lyra is a teenager at school in Oxford, and "Once Upon a Time in the North", which the blurb states is about how Lee Scoresby and Iorek Byrnison met. However, the main driving plot of "Serpentine" seems to revolve around a relationship issue drawn out in "The Secret Commonwealth", the second book of the Book of Dust series, so you might want to read that first. As far as I remember, there's nothing on your trigger list in either "Oxford" or "North". Pullman has done another story with a vague connection to HDM, "The Collectors", too.

Please consider the continuation of His Dark Materials, the Book of Dust series. It's set up in an interesting way, with the first book being a prequel to the main HDM series and the second a sequel. Each book is pretty hefty, at 500-800 pages. If you've already read them for pleasure, that's fine. 😀

It'd be great if you could consider the BBC adaptation of His Dark Materials. The book's storylines, characters and lore is slowly drawn out and the acting and special effects are awesome! Cannot wait for series 2!
