Equestria Daily : Full Version of the Season 5 Poster Released!

Thu, 31 Dec 2015 23:03:57 +0000

I got everypony but three of the Hooffields in the right position. But then, they forgot to 'reveal' Whoa Nelly, so I think I can claw some of it back. It's gratifying seeing the characters that were spot-on accurate from my version. I hope they do this for Season 6.

You've got to wonder just how easy it is for mistakes like these to be made, whether it's down to a computer scheduling error or if somebody has just not been paying enough attention when entering stuff in the first place.

Well, I'm finished, though not with the story; I'll try not to leave Twilight, Luna and Spike stuck in this situation for another year, though. And I'll probably be putting up a Fimfic link with a password to an unreleased story, because I'm one of those people who doesn't show anybody anything until it's all finished.

Equestria Daily : \"The Cutie Re-Mark\", Parts I & II: Episode Followup

Sun, 29 Nov 2015 19:10:17 +0000

For an episode that could have had very strong implications for headcanons, once again I find myself in the weird position that if anything the new content has *enforced* my headcanon, especially where the time travel is concerned. Also, I hope we see the actual version of the cast poster soon, I want to see how accurate I was!

Equestria Daily : Discussion: Do You Want to See Starlight Glimmer Redeemed?

Tue, 24 Nov 2015 19:09:55 +0000

I find it's interesting how much discussion my filling-in of the cast poster generated, bearing in mind that the pose I got for Starlight had her smiling at Twilight - but the truth of the matter there is that Twilight is smiling at Starlight, and Twilight's pose was chosen by the layout artists who made the poster in the first place.

Equestria Daily : Early Morning Discussion #351

Tue, 24 Nov 2015 11:16:27 +0000

Encountered a pretty big coincidence yesterday; after having had The Mane Attraction on Saturday, which featured the character Svengallop as a reference to the character Svengali from the novel Trilby, I subsequently found a mention of said novel and novel's character in a newspaper column from 1904. Just a little weird immediately finding that two days after the episode airs.

Hey, alicorn OCs can work well if they're written right. I've got three of them. (Not that any of them feature in this year's story, though.)
