Revolutionary Politics : You are now considered a domestic terrorist if you use silver as currency - Liberty Dollar creator c

now considered a domestic terrorist if you use silver as currency – Liberty Dollar creator convicted in federal court.__Jct: He wasn't convicted for using silver, he was convicted for making his coins look like US money. Ithaca Hours, Berkshire Berkshares, Pittsboro Plentys, they're alternate currencies that didn't get busted because there's no question they don't look like US cash. His did. He incurred government wrath, he gets what he deserves. Given the other successful models, he was an idiot to make his look like the real thing. I think his purpose was to bring the alternative currency movement into disrepute. But there's no way merely using silver is the reason he was convicted. If he'd put Mickey Mouse on his coins, I'd bet he have had no problems.__

Jct: If they sound like real money and look like real money, they're looking for trouble. Community currencies that don't look like official money are legal, those that do are being prosecuted like Liberty Dollars. Fools. They incurrred the government's wrath for nothing. Ithaca Hours has been working for decades with no problems!

United Press International - UPI.com : More banks refuse California IOUs - UPI.com

Jct: There’s nothing wrong with small denomination California State IOUs if anyone can pay their taxes with them. When Argentina’s government workers were faced with cuts, their unions talked 6 state governments into paying them with small-denomination state bonds which could be used to pay for state services and taxes by everyone. When the local currency is pegged to the Time Standard of Money (how many dollars per unskilled hour child labor) Hours earned locally can be intertraded with other timebanks globally! In 1999, I paid for 39/40 nights in Europe with an IOU for a night back in Canada worth 5 Hours. U.N. Millennium Declaration UNILETS Resolution C6 to governments is for a time-based currency to restructure the global financial architecture. See http://youtube.com/kingofthepaupers Too bad California IOUs won’t be accepted in payment for state taxes and services like state bonds were in Argentina. Too bad California IOUs will be denominated too big to use as local currency. Too bad Argentina people were smart enough to avoid the tent-cities catastrophe and California people are too stupid to follow their example. If they make IOUs legal tender, I take it all back.

WSBT South Bend - Your Local News Leader : Name of new local currency to be announced Friday | WSBT South Bend - Your Local News Leader | Local

""Why do we have to be told to support local business? Shouldn't it always be that way? This way jobs DO stay in the community. Why do you think jobs are leaving the community? ...that's right, government!!!" Jct: You're not being asked to support local business which should always be that way but isn't because the large box stores can usually undercut local prices, you're being asked to support a mechanism that keeps jobs in the community, a mechanism that promotes what's so hard to do against big competition. Getting organized locally to help the local is better than getting enthusiastic about helping local but not being able to.

"It's okay for the currency to be printed locally. By the time inflation kicks into overdrive the U.S. Dollar will only be worth pennies due to spending more money than the United States actually has." Jct: Adding chips to the game doesn't cause inflation if the chips are backed up by new collateral in the cage. Issuing new money isn't inflationary if it's backed up like poker chips. Besides, consider that inflation can not only be more money chasing the goods, Shift A, or less goods after foreclosure being chased by the same money, Shift B.See my video on "Shift B inflation".

Jct: Whatever you call it, make sure it's linked to the Time Standard of Money so your credits can be intertraded globally without timebanks everywhere. When local currency is pegged to the Time Standard of Money (how many dollars/hour child labor) Hours earned locally can be intertraded with other timebanks globally! In 1999, I paid for 39/40 nights in Europe with an IOU for a night back in Canada worth 5 Hours. An Ithaca Hour is worth $10 US Greendollars. Make sure to make your link to time right on your currency and it will be acceptable all over the world just like my IOU for an Hour was. U.N.

Jct: The money from the Treasury, its use did almost cease, To pay the interest to banks, the taxes did increase. And when we ask "The Treasury, why is it never used?" In answer, we get silence and an attitude bemused. So to this day the bulk of the American supply, Is borrowed from the banks at rates that make debts multiply. All Governments do service debt by taxing you and me, Instead of letting Treasury create it interest free. I see no reason for a tax to pay them interest, When use of plates by Treasury would lower taxes best. The money from the Treasury was used down south before. The "Greenbacks" used by Lincoln paid to win the Civil War. The "Continentals" did their job until King George did state: "There'll be no use of your own plates, for gold you'll have to wait." Though we've been told that their revolt was over tax for tea, Ben Franklin said "The war's because they took our currency."

Jct: From http://johnturmel.com/poembank.htm Two notes used in America can clearly show the way, Both legal tender now down south. They can be spent today: "United States Note" issued by the nation's Treasury, And "Federal Reserve Note" which is banker's currency. Their fronts are very similar except the name they state, Their backs are very different, it means another plate. The Treasury provided notes for federal expense, And taxed them back to balance books with numbers that made sense. In 1913, other plates were given to the banks, Creation of the money. They gave politicians thanks. The Government had given banks permission to create, A batch of brand new money to be lent at interest rate. The Government then borrowed from them and at their request, The Congress passed the Income Tax to pay them interest. One Congressman objected, Louis T. McFadden, loud, "The greatest crime in history," he said with head unbowed. Ten dollars out, eleven back, it often takes a while, But after years, the end result's a melancholy style.
