Not always, but yes, a fair share of them, further "humanize" the ponies to make them look more... appealing to some people. This is further accentuated by their poses or faces.

There are also many that are just cute, and more "pony." Take, for example, the last Fluttershy one. Nothing inherently sexual about that.

I guess it's the same with humans: some wear socks for sex appeal, others wear them for fashion, and many just for weather :P
