Horde Review : Oculus: The Bain of Randoms

I hated when people would QQ about Oculus before the nerf, and even more so after it. I love Oculus. Easy instance, fun end boss fight. People don't like it because it's "Too" hard. Haha, no, it's because they are lazy and just want to smash buttons like they do on anything else. Ley Guardian Eros actually takes effort to down, similar to raid mechanics, yet doesn't drop raid loot. THIS is why Blizzard would implement such dramatic changes and loot to Oculus. Blizzard has gone from making the game worth the time and investment of leveling, acquiring items, playing without addons, I mean the works, to such easy mode playing, it's a breeze. Granted, I use addons now, but back in Mid 2005 until 2006 when I started playing, I played the hard way, the original way. Oculus is just a reminder that the game still requires some paying attention. Unfortunately, everything else is too dummied down, and therefore, Oculus is seen as the bane of all heroics.

Oy, this should be fun. =[ People fail so hard core at raid mechanics, I am actually scared to see how people do on this boss.

Horde Review : Priests-The Dark Side

Thanks a ton Dan! I actually decided my old tree wasn't viable as a raiding tree in today's raids. Asked a very good Shadow Priest friend for help, and that is what he gave me! Glad to know I went in the right direction. And yes we can do it! Out with the old, and if with the new. Everyone want's an SPriest now a days haha. Glad the rotation is right, I was afraid mine was more preferential haha. And again, thanks for the feedback!

Horde Review : The New LFG: Guild Withdraw Symptoms

Oh no doubt! I'm the GL of my guild, and quite frankly, dealing with my guild every second of my WoW time really becomes draining after awhile. It's nice to just go to a PuG, especially cross realm now where it's new people, and not deal with the mass amounts of guild talk. Though PuG's can be very frustrating, it's also kind of refreshing to play with new and fresh faces and just talk to people you'd normally never run with. And queueing is much quicker solo. ;]

Horde Review : The New LFG: Guild Withdraw Symptoms

I happen to be an achievement whore on my priest. =/ Though I love to gear up quick, PvE Shadow, PvE Holy, And both PvP sets, as well as My Prot Pally and her Ret offset (PvE no PvP), I find that all of those can be put off slightly by at least including 1-4 other guildies. =] I love them, we work great together, we move through shit really fast, and we even use the LFG finder just for the extra badges by queueing up for a random dungeon as a full group. It works, and we get the benefits of it, WHILE maintaing guild companionship and quick instance running.____However haha, I obtained a new guildie last night BECAUSE of LFG. He was on a different realm than I, but we stayed grouped for heroics, and low and behold, he transferred to my server and joined my guild. It was amazing. Loved it, had fun, and I HATE PuG's with a passion.____So just note, you can still get LFG perks as a full guild run.
